Stephanie S. Jones, MD, is an experienced, board-certified pain management specialist serving patients at Consultants in Pain Medicine in San Antonio, Texas.
A graduate of Angelo State University and the University Health Science Center of San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Jones has been in private practice since 1997. She is known for her skill and expertise and currently serves one of the largest populations of people with intrathecal pain pumps in the United States.
Dr. Jones believes in the power of alternative, complementary therapies to relieve pain. She is particularly interested in energy medicine, including innovative treatments like the Electro-Equiscope® microcurrent device that transmits low-level electrical currents into the skin.
Knowing the mind is a powerful tool, Dr. Jones often adopts a spiritual approach with her patients, encouraging the power of positive thinking and determination. Miranda High, APRN, FNP-C is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has been working in pain medicine after obtaining experience in orthopedics.
She began her career in healthcare in 2015, as a registered nurse, after earning her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, AR. She then went on to earn her Masters in Science of Nursing at University of Texas in Arlington, TX.
As a pain medicine nurse practitioner, Miranda is dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care for her patients with chronic pain. She works closely with Dr. Jones and her patients to develop individualized treatment plans that will address their unique needs. Her 5+ years of experience, as a registered nurse, provided her with invaluable clinical experience and exposure, which cultivated her ability to provide the best possible care and outcomes for her patients.
