Dr. Jennifer Erian is a diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology and completed her subspecialty training in Pain Medicine at one of the top cancer institutions in the nation, MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Here she developed a passion for chronic pain and more specifically, cancer-associated pain.
She grew up in Northern Kentucky and then earned a Bachelors Degree in Biology at the University of South Carolina graduating Summa Cum Laude. After receiving her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, she completed her residency training in Anesthesiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
Dr. Erian holds a vast armamentarium of skills for the treatment of chronic pain. She has a special interest in cancer pain, neuromodulation, and regenerative medicine. Dr. Erian has a deep commitment to keeping abreast of the latest research and therapies within the field of pain medicine to best serve her patients. She believes in treating the patient as a whole using a multimodal approach to improve quality of life and promoting wellness.
Dr. Erian is a member of several professional organizations including the North American Neuromodulation Society, Texas Pain Society, American Society of Anesthesiologist, Texas Society of Anesthesiologist, Texas Medical Association and the Bexar County Medical Society.
In her free time, Dr. Erian enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and French bulldog; running, spin classes, traveling, baking and listening to Texas country music.
