Dr. Stephanie Jones is a diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology with a subspecialty certification in Pain Management. She completed her post-doctorate Fellowship in Pain Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and has been in private practice since 1997.
Dr. Jones completed her undergraduate work from Angelo State University graduating Magna Cum Laude. A frequent lecturer, Dr. Jones believes in educating the public and other physicians about the need for pain management. She is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia, Texas Medical Association, and the Bexar County Medical Society.
Her interests are cancer pain, back and neck pain, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (i.e. Complex Regional Pain Syndrome), and female pelvic pain. Her experience with spinal cord stimulators and intrathecal pumps for chronic pain patients is extensive. She also has extensive experience using botulinum toxin (e.g. Botox, Myobloc) for pain. Dr. Jones approaches every patient with persistent hope and believes everyone has the right to live as pain free as possible.
Besides work she enjoys spending time with three children. She can also be found playing volleyball, doing Bikram yoga, and working out.
